What I Spend My Money On$$$

Teens my age would spend their money primarily on clothes and shoes whereas I, on the other hand, spend a good majority on FOOD. Yes on food. The need for fast food, and that doesn't necessarily include MC Donald's or Wendy's (however, i don't exclude those options), is something i live and breath for. Going out to eat at 5 star restaurants is what I look for after a long hard earned pay check.

My need to spend money on food, leads to other problems such as potential causes of obesity or not being able to control my spending habits. This is a common problem among the youth generation of America; the need to eat fast foods. (And yes I'm most definitely included in this national problem.)

Ultimately, it comes down to, how do we as a national solve this problem? Professional advisers would most likely say to simply stay away from fattening, high calorie foods and obtain more healthy and dietary foods (vegetables, fruits, grains and whatever else is suppose to be good for the body system). However, that is easier said than done. If you have tasty, buttery, succulent, delicious french fries or cheeseburgers in your face would you one: refuse to eat the food or two: EAT IT. Personally I would eat it, I mean why not?

One should always remember that "what you do today, will effect you tomorrow". "Tomorrow" doesn't mean in the next 24 hours but months or years from now. So if you intake damaging food in high abundances you could potentially mess up your body's digestive system and offset your metabolism. This is really scary to realize but it's true, unfortunately... :( As a female, I don't want a saggy body with "love-handles" on my neck or shoulders just because I ate to many cheeseburgers in my childhood; I think I can hold on to the fattening food for a little while.
